Mansur Alam Pabna: Country’s popular television channel NTV observed 22 founding anniversary in Pabna with a discussion meeting and cake cutting.
NTV started its journey on July 3, 2003 with the slogan ‘On the way to tomorrow’. NTV started broadcasting 24 hours on January 1 next year and obtained ISO certification on September 8, 2011. Within a short period of time, this TV has gained recognition through the variety of its programs.
On Wednesday 3rd July at noon in the VIP auditorium of Pabna Press Club, the entry into 22 years of Bangladesh’s popular and premier satellite television NTV was celebrated through a joyous moment by lighting candles, cutting cakes and sweets.
Pabna District Commissioner Mu: Asaduzzaman spoke as the chief guest on the occasion. ABM Fazlur Rahman, NTV’s staff reporter from Pabna and president of the traditional Pabna Press Club, delivered the welcome speech.
Superintendent of Police Masud Alam and Pabna Newspaper Council President Abdul Matin Khan, Pabna Chamber Director Rana Group Chairman Ruhul Amin Biswas Rana and Pabna Chamber of Commerce Director and Shafiq Group Chairman Alhaj Md. Shafiqul Islam Khan spoke as special guests.

Pabna Press Club Literary and Cultural Editor Yad Ali Mridha Pavel moderated the entire program. Later, a cake was cut to celebrate NTV’s 22nd year in Pabna. Despite all the preparations, the procession could not be taken out due to inclement weather.
