Political Reporter: The establishment of the Muslim League is an important chapter in the political history of this subcontinent undoubtedly. This political party, strong in the ideology of Muslim nationalism, not only united the Muslims who were disoriented due to the exploitation, deprivation and neglect of the British and Brahminical Hinduism, but also divided India through 41 years of continuous struggle and struggle and established a separate state for the Muslims.
Based on this fundamental freedom of ours, known as the Azadi Movement, Bangladesh achieved complete independence through the great Liberation War in 1971. On the occasion of the 118th founding anniversary of the traditional political party Muslim League, the leaders made the above comments at a discussion meeting organized by the Bangladesh Muslim League on Minday. Acting President Advocate Md. Mohsin Rashid presided over the event, while Secretary General Kazi Abul Khair moderated the 118th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Muslim League at the Crime Reporters Association Auditorium in the capital.
Justice Nazrul Islam Chowdhury said, as the chief guest, “The Muslim League is the party built by our fathers and grandfathers. We, the next generation, are the beneficiaries of the Muslim League. Without the Muslim League, there would be no Pakistan, and without Pakistan, there would be no Bangladesh; this constant truth must be propagated more and more. JANIPOP Chairman Dr. Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah said in his speech, “If East Pakistan had not been born; the Bangladesh state with the current map would not have been born.”
The leaders further said that the All India Muslim League was established on the initiative and proposal of Nawab Sir Khwaja Salimullah of Dhaka with the main objective of protecting the interests of Muslims in India in the historical context of the partition of Bengal. In the current context, protecting the interests of 92% of Muslims may seem somewhat irrelevant as an objective, but there is still no alternative to the Muslim nationhood, i.e. the Muslim League political ideology, proven in 1947, to confront the aggression of the neighboring country India. The Muslim League’s steadfast, uncompromising and consistent stand against Indian hegemony is being valued by the entire nation today as a shield of freedom and sovereignty. The fallen fascist Hasina, her cronies and their foreign masters are trying to take advantage of the political chaos after the mass uprising. It is only for the political party to break all the domestic and foreign conspiracies and turn a mass uprising into democracy in the fastest time.
In the context of the mass uprising-24, all those who have become optimistic and interested in politics, especially the young generation, should practice politics by entering the party structure. Even if a new party is established if necessary, the oldest party, the Muslim League, will welcome them; this will re-establish the essential political order at least for the moment.
Janipop Chairman Dr. Nazmul Hasan Kalimullah, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Nayeb Ameer Abdur Rab Yusufi, Ameer of the Islamic Movement Dr. Md. Isa Shahedi, Presidium Member of the Islamic Movement Principal Ashraf Ali Akanda, FDP Chairman Dr. AR Khan, Muslim League Additional Secretary General Akbar Hossain Pathan and Kazi AA Kafi, Sheikh A Sabur, Syed Abdul Hannan Noor also addressed among others in the meeting.
