BSS, DHAKA: Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) today demolished a rooftop restaurant situated at Gawsia Twin Peak building on Satmasjid Road in Dhanmondi due to lack of approval.
During the drive led by RAJUK executive magistrate Tazina Sarwar, a total of 12 restaurants located in the building were also sealed off.
The executive magistrate said the building was allowed to have offices, but the structure has no approval to set up restaurants.
On May 23, RAJUK inspected the building and gave a notice.
Tazina said the rooftop restaurant named Retro Life Kitchen has been demolished during the drive.
Apart from this, none of the restaurants here have taken permission from the district administration for business, she said.
