MOON Desk: The auction of Bangladesh Bank repo and liquidity support facility for the commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Thursday, 22 September 2022. In that auction, 04 banks submitted 15 bids amounting to Taka 1602.68 crore as 07 days tenor repo facility. Of which, all bids amounting to Taka 801.34 crore were accepted by the auction committee. Moreover, 10 banks submitted 40 bids amounting to Taka 4497.76 crore as 03 days tenor liquidity support facility. All bids were accepted by the auction committee. Accordingly, total Taka 5299.10 crore was provided under repo and liquidity support facility. The interest rates of the above-mentioned 07 days tenor repo and liquidity support facility were 5.60 and 5.50 percent per annum, respectively.
