MA Mannan, Bhola: A day-long workshop titled “Advocacy Workshop with Head of the Institution” has been organized by Sajeda Foundation in Daulatkhan, Bhola.
The workshop held at the Upazila auditorium, continued from 9 am to 4 pm on Tuesday. The program was moderated by Md. Biplob Hossain, Project Manager, Sajeda Foundation. The technical support was provided by Mst. Sonali Talukder.
Sajeda Foundation, with the technical support of Plan International Bangladesh, organized this workshop for the heads of institutions of Daulatkhan Upazila to implement the “Stop the Stigma” project. At the program, they exchanged views with the heads of the educational institutions to establish the implementation of menstrual health management. Nine unions and only one municipality of the upazila were determined as the work areas of this foundation.
The workshop, chaired by Secondary Education Officer Rakibul Hasan, was spoken
by Heads of various institutions. They expressed their views and discussed in detail about child marriage, menstrual health, sexual and reproductive health and gender inequality.
At the event, Md. Biplob Hossain, project manager of Sajeda Foundation said that 10 inclusive wash blocks will be set up at nine institutions of nine unions and one will be at the municipal area in this upazila.
At that time, he also said that 13 ward blocks had already been set up at 13 institutions in 13 unions of Bhola Sadar Upazila.
Project Manager Md. Biplob Hossain also said that the founder of Sajeda Foundation is Syed Humayun Kabir. He is strongly committed to communal welfare. It is his thinking that helps the Sajeda Foundation to continue its unique values ​​and equitable efforts. The goal of this organization, established in 1993, is to ensure good health and a happy life.
