MOON Desk: The members of JCI Dhaka Young welcomed the ‘English New Year’ with the relatives of the old age home. The members of JCI Dhaka Young enjoyed chatting with the elders. After having lunch together, the initiative called ‘Warm Love 2023’ was celebrated by cutting a cake.
The event was organized at this old home called ‘Apan Bhuban’ at the north of the capital to welcome the English New Year. At this time, financial wishes were given by Dhaka Young for supporting the health and other necessary development work of the old mothers in the ashram.
Under the supervision of JCI Dhaka Young, President 2023 Rabeya Nasir Abhi, the overall coordination of this initiative was coordinated by 2023 Executive Vice President Samia Rahman , the management supported by 2023 Vice President Sami Mahmud Khan, Rajan Zahid and Saurabh Adhikari.
JCI Bangladesh PR & Media Chairperson Nazmul Hossain Sabuj was present as a special guest. Also present were Director of JCI Dhaka Young Nafiza Rahman Mou, Najmun Nahar Shanta, General Member Yamin A Utsha and many others.
Newly elected president of Dhaka Young, Rabeya Nasir Abhi said, “This initiative of ours is to start the New Year with the prayers and good wishes of the seniors. She expressed her commitment to always be by their side for their health and other needs.
At this time, the old age home also responded to them. They appreciated all concerned for organizing such a joyous event.
JCI is a voluntary organization of young people between the ages of 18 and 40 with its headquarters in St. Louis, USA. At present, more than 35 branches of JCI Bangladesh are working for social and economic development across the country.
