City Desk: Bangladesh Muslim League has congratulated and congratulated all the students of the anti-discrimination student movement who brought down the fascist Awami League government by causing a mass coup through an unprecedented mass movement of students. This victory against the fascist government in exchange for many lives, blood and sweat is the democracy-thirsty people. Today, the party’s executive president Abdul Aziz Hawladar and general secretary Kazi Abul Khair said in a joint statement that the entire nation, including today’s generation, who started the journey of this new Bangladesh, is feeling the joy of independence anew today. Finally, it has been proved once again that the people are the source of all political power.

Expressing sincere thanks to the army chief and the army for dealing with the situation wisely, the leaders said, hope the army chief will be able to restore peace and order in the country as soon as possible. In this case, the initiative to identify the responsible persons and bring them to justice can play an important role in alleviating the anger of the students. Calling upon the people to deal with the situation with patience, the leaders said that the historical political party Bangladesh Muslim League considers it the moral and main responsibility of all citizens to rebuild the country left behind by the fascist government. In the case of the Interim Government, we believe that the formulation of the final outline through a joint dialogue with the top-leaders of the parties that refrained from participating in the twelfth national elections and the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement would be considered more acceptable to the people. Expressing deep condolences to the souls of the martyrs and their bereaved families and wishing for the speedy recovery of the injured, the leaders demanded the correct list of martyrs killed in the mass movement and better treatment of the injured under the government management.
