Moulvibazar Correspondent: Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman on Saturday said young generation will lead the future Bangladesh.
“We couldn’t topple the dictator through waging movements. I am proud that our children have made it possible. For this, I’m expressing my gratitude to them,” he said.
Jamaat Ameer was addressing a conference of party workers of Moulvibazar district unit at Moulvibazar Government High School ground today, said a party press release.
Jamaat-e-Islami central committee assistant secretary general Ehasanul Mahbub Jobayer, Dhaka city North unit Ameer Muhammad Selim Uddin, Sylhet city unit Ameer Md Fakhrul Islam and Sylhet district unit Ameer Maulana Habibur Rahman, among others, spoke on the occasion while Ammer of the unit Engineer Md Shahed Ali was in the chair.
“We love our country and its people. I would like to urge the countrymen to remain united for building a developed nation,” Jamaat Ameer said.
After the meeting, Jamaat Ameer exchanged views with the members of civil society and different professionals.
