Staff Correspondent: Youth society will stop all the evil attempts to create anarchy in post-revolution Bangladesh.
Shahadat Ullah Tutul, Convener of the AB Jubo Party Central Committee, said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the discussion meeting titled ‘Student-Youth-People Revolution: Aspirations and Challenges’ organized by the Chittagong City Jubo AB Party on Saturday.
Advocate Syed Abul Kashem, Member Secretary of the AB Party Chittagong City, spoke as a special guest at the discussion meeting chaired by Javed Iqbal, Co-Coordinator of the City AB Youth Party and Coordinator Abdur Rahman Monir.
Chief guest Shahadat Ullah Tutul said that the main aspiration of the students-youth-people revolution of the 24th century is to freely express their own opinions. The Awami fascist government has curtailed the freedom of speech of the people for the past 16 years. It has not allowed 45 million youth to vote in the national elections. A frightening situation has been created in the country by brutal torture in disappearances, murders, arrests and remands. He said that millions of teenagers and young men like Abu Sayeed stood in front of bullets, ignoring the fear of death, to save the country. But yesterday, again, a conspiracy is going on to destroy communal harmony. He called on the youth of Chattala to be vigilant for the independence and sovereignty of the country during this crisis. Advocate Syed Abul Kashem said that one of the aspirations of the July-August Revolution was the security of the people, which the people did not have in the past. He said that the AB Party does politics for the civil rights and security of the people.
AB Party’s Chittagong City Joint Member Secretary Engineer Zayed Hasan Chowdhury, Student Affairs Secretary Syed Sohrab Hossain Pias, youth leaders Sabuj Karmakar, Junaid, Nasir Uddin, Rabiya Khatun Umanshing Marma, Mustafiz Uddin, Liton Das, Shefayatullah among others were also present at the event.
