Zenith Islami Life Insurance Limited holds a death claim check distribution and prayer mahfil at the Bagatipara Service Center. The event was held at the hall of Tamaltola Adarsh Balika High School in Bagatipara Upazila on Monday.
SM Nuruzzaman, Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Islami Life Insurance Limited and Acting Secretary General of Bangladesh Insurance Forum was the keynote speaker at the event. He said at the death claim check handover ceremony, “It is necessary to work in insurance for the welfare of humanity. By working in insurance, it is possible to stand by the side of orphans and helpless people. Zenith Life is working tirelessly to alleviate poverty, eliminate unemployment and create employment. No claim is pending at Zenith Life.”
Jamaat-e-Islami Bagatipara Union Ameer Maulana Md. Shafiul Islam, BNP Bagatipara Upazila Committee Joint Convener Abdur Rashid Chowdhury and Bagatipara Union Committee President Mahatab Uddin spoke as special guests at the event. Upazila Secondary Teachers Association President Headmaster Sajedur Rahman also spoke at the event.
The event was presided over by the company’s Senior DMD Muhammad Kamrul Islam. BNP Bagatipara Upazila Committee Convener Md. Mosharraf Hossain was present as the chief guest.
The event was moderated by the company’s DMD and journalist Abdul Majid.
A check of 1,45,000/= (one lakh forty-five thousand) taka was presented to the late Zulfikar Ali’s Nomini Mahfuza Begum at the event.
It is worth noting that Zulfikar Ali, an insurance customer, died in a road accident with an annual installment of only 12,000/- (twelve thousand taka).
In addition to the handover of insurance claim checks, a special prayer meeting was organized at the event. An important discussion was held on the role of insurance workers in the development of the insurance sector and human service.
