Desk Report: Bangladesh Coast Guard distributes medical care and of necessary medical supplies in Kashipur under Narayanganj district. Lieutenant Commander Abdur Rahman, media officer of the Coast Guard Headquarters, gave this information on Wednesday morning.
He said that since its inception, Bangladesh Coast Guard has come forward to meet the various needs of the people of the coast/char area. Medical services are very inadequate compared to the needs of the unemployed and destitute people of the coast/grasslands. Therefore, Bangladesh Coast Guard has always come forward to serve the underprivileged people. In continuation of this, on Wednesday morning, Dhaka Zone under Bangladesh Coast Guard provided free medical services and necessary medical supplies to more than 500 helpless, poor, distressed and children in Hatkhola High School grounds of Kashipur under Fatulla Thana, Narayanganj District.
He also said that Coast Guard Headquarters Senior Medical Officer Surgeon Lieutenant Jasmine Akhter, AMC and Medical Officer Lieutenant Shaikh Rizvi Khan, AMC and local public representatives were present in the program of providing free medical services and necessary medical supplies.
