MOON Desk: BNP Standing Committee Member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy on Friday said that there is no alternative but to take to streets.
He said, “Now nobody wants to do programme at home, and I don’t want to do it also. Decision would be finalized on street as people have come to streets. Whatever the decision is it must be finalized on street as no other alternative is left.”
The BNP leader made the remarks while addressing at a discussion at National Press Club in Dhaka in the afternoon. Rajshahi University Nationalist Ex-Student Association organized the programme.
Gayeshwar said, “The rampage that has been done in BNP’s central office on December 7 beats the brutality done by the Pakistan Army in 1971. People were supposed to die from the gas because of the huge amount of tear-shells fired by police inside BNP office.”

Overthrow of this fascism means the restoration of democracy, said the BNP standing committee member.
