Moon Desk: The Population Services and Training Center (PSTC) proudly inaugurated its model clinic in Kushtia on Tuesday marking a significant milestone in its ongoing efforts to improve access to quality healthcare in underserved communities across Bangladesh. The event, held at the Desha Tower in Kushtia, aims to provide comprehensive SRHR services with a special focus on Adolescent and youth Reproductive Health care.
The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Mr. Md. Toufikur Rahman, District Commissioner of Kushtia, who in his speech highlighted the importance of affordable, accessible and equitable healthcare services for all and formally inaugurated the clinic. Mr. Rahman commended PSTC for its continuous commitment to addressing the healthcare needs of the vulnerable communities.

Each shared their valuable insights and support for the initiative, emphasizing the critical role that partnerships between government, NGOs, and local authorities play in improving public health outcomes.
The event featured a presentation on the PSTC Model Clinic’s vision and services, followed by a tour of the facility. The clinic aims to serve as a model for integrated healthcare, providing essential services ranging from family planning to maternal and child health, as well as counseling and health education.
PSTC’s Executive Director, Dr. Noor Mohammad, expressed the organization’s commitment to addressing health disparities and fostering collaborative efforts to ensure equitable access to healthcare across Bangladesh.
