Turkish, Austrian presidents meet in New York
Diyar Guldogan: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Austrian counterpart Alexander Van der Bellen met in New York city on Wednesday.
No further information was released about the closed-door meeting.
Later in the day, Erdogan will attend an evening reception hosted by US President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden. He will address leading US businessmen at another dinner event.
The president is also expected to hold talks with other world leaders in the US city, where the 77th UN General Assembly is underway.
