Rayhan Ahmed, Mymensingh: November 14 is World Diabetes Day. Like all over the world, the day has been celebrated in Bangladesh with the aim of public awareness. In continuation of this, the day has been celebrated in the organization of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
Public awareness rally was held from the administrative building of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital at 10 am on Monday and ended in the outer ward. Later a discussion session on diabetes was held.
Director of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital Brigadier General Md. Golam Kibria spoke as the chief guest in the meeting.
Deputy Director Dr. Md. Waiz Uddin Faraji, Assistant Director (Administration) Dr. Md. Zakyul Islam, Assistant Director (Finance & Stores) Dr. Sheikh Ali Reza Siddiqui, Head of Endocrinology Department Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain, Dr. Mohammad Qaiser Hasan Khan (Imran) spoke among others. Dr. Palash Kumar Chand presented an essay on diabetes. Medical students of different years, nurses and others were present in this moment.
