Raisa Mehzabeen: Bangladesh, the nation with a population of around 160 million, is developing rapidly and the youth of the nation is playing a key role in it. The youth possess tremendous potential to become the future leaders. However, in Bangladesh, they lack sufficient skill development opportunities to reach their full potential. They spend more time in academic studies and activities. This is where YouthBees comes in. By providing skillful workshops and sessions, YouthBees aim to help young people to develop their skills and gain a competitive edge in the job market.

On 24th February, YouthBees has organized a virtual workshop on “CV Writing Mastery” supported by Selopia and collaborated with IUB Social Welfare Club. The workshop was a great success and was attended by more than 100 students from various universities across the nation. The aim of the event was to provide young people with the opportunity to learn how to write a professional CV, develop their skills and gain valuable knowledge about the job market.

The workshop was divided into two parts. It opened with a keynote address by the Chief Operating Officer of YouthBess, Sakib Hasan, who spoke about the importance of well written CV and how to format the CV.  On the second part, the Founder & CEO of YouthBees, Mahib Sadman shared some valuable insights and cleared out the myths of CV Writing. He further discussed how skill development can help the youth to become more employable and increase their chances of getting better jobs.

 

The workshop was conducted in an interactive way, with the participants actively engaging in the discussion. The workshop also provided an opportunity for the participants to share their experiences and clear their doubts on CV writing.

 

Overall, these YouthBees workshops and sessions provide highly useful resource for the Bangladeshi youth, as they help to teach vital skills such as professional development, writing, networking, leadership, entrepreneurship and many more. They believe that by empowering youth and giving them the tools they need to succeed, they can create a bright future for Bangladesh.
