Abu Sayem, Cox’s Bazar: Refresher training workshop 2023-2024 was held in Cox’s Bazar to increase the skills and awareness of professional drivers.
The training workshop to increase the professional skills and awareness of professional motorists under the motto “Drive according to the law, return home safely” was held on Monday morning in the hall of Arunodaya School under the chairmanship of Assistant Director (Eng.) Uthwayinu Chowdhury of BRTA Cox’s Bazar Circle. This workshop was organized by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority ( BRTA) Cox’s Bazar Circle.
Amjad Hossain, TI (Admin) of Cox’s Bazar Traffic Police gave various suggestions to the drivers along with important discussions on various issues in the training workshop. On the occasion, Resident Medical Officer of Civil Surgeon Office, Dr. Shah Fahim Ahmed Faisal, Motor Vehicle Inspector Md. Mamunur Rashid, Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector Mohammad Yusuf, Driving Instructor Nurul Amin and other instructors were present.
In the training workshop, the speakers provided awareness to the drivers about the causes of road accidents, various rules and regulations for driving motor vehicles, cleanliness, traffic signs, what drivers should do to prevent accidents, as well as provide various guidelines.
In his presiding speech, BRTA Assistant Director (Eng.) Uthwayinu Chowdhury gave important discussions to the drivers about license renewal, vehicle fitness renewal, road permit renewal, engine change.
120 trainees participated in the training workshop.
