MM Rahmatullah: The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Dhaka hosted a farewell ceremony today for 30 Bangladeshi pilgrims invited as guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for Hajj 1447 AH.

The program was held in the presence of senior officials of the Saudi Embassy. It was conducted and moderated by Yasir Sheshah, Director of Political and Media Affairs at the Saudi Embassy in Dhaka.

Continuing the annual tradition, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques extended invitations to royal guests from Bangladesh and other countries to perform Hajj. The initiative aims to strengthen mutual goodwill, harmony, and bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Deputy Ambassador of the Saudi Embassy welcomed the pilgrims and expressed happiness at hosting them for the farewell gathering. He said Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, is making relentless efforts to ensure the safe arrival of pilgrims from around the world and the smooth performance of all Hajj rituals.

The Deputy Ambassador offered special prayers for the pilgrims, wishing them a safe journey, good health, and the ability to perform Hajj properly and smoothly.

The 30 guests will shortly depart for the Holy Land to join millions of pilgrims for the annual pilgrimage.
