MT Desk: Ambassador of Bangladesh to Uzbekistan with concurrent accreditation to Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan and Afghanistan H.E. Md Zahangir Alam was awarded PhD Degree as External Researcher from University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.The topic of his thesis is “Factors Affecting the Adoption of Technology-Driven International Trade: Asian Context”. All 10 members of Scientific Council unanimously in a secret ballot voted “pro” in favour of awarding him the degree of PhD. The Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and Deputy Speaker of Oliy Majlis (Parliament) of Uzbekistan Sodiq Safoyev, Vice-Rectors, Professors from UWED and Professors of other prominent universities in Central Asian Region were present during the defense stage as Scientific Council’s members.
It is worth mentioning that Md Zahangir Alam published 6 articles and 2 conference papers in the Universities of United States of America, Australia, Austria, India, Malaysia and Uzbekistan. He received a big number of reviews from different eminent universities of Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, Canada, China, Malaysia etc.
Ambassador Zahangir Alam is a member of BCS Administration Cadre-8th batch. He is the son of renowned School teacher Mawlana Ruhul Amin of Patkelpota Village under Sadar Upazilla of Meherpur District.
